Limelight is a 2024 Bavaria C38. Most of the time she is on charter with Windworks Sailing, and anyone with the right sailing resume can take her out: reserve Limelight on Windworks.
Some of the time she goes further. This season that means down the Pacific coast, the Baja Ha-Ha into Mexico, and a winter in the Sea of Cortez. Planning for Spring Legs 2027 is already underway.
The boat's story: how she came to be Limelight, where the name comes from, and anything else worth saying about her.
The boat
Bavaria C38
A Bavaria V-bow and chines at the stern: more stability, a longer waterline, and a surprising amount of room below.
Three cabins, one head with a shower, and a saloon with U-shaped seating to starboard and a lounge bench to port that sits eight for dinner. On deck, twin wheels, an electric windlass and a bow thruster. For longer passages: autopilot, radar, chart plotter, AIS and Starlink.
